SIAMS (Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools)
We were inspected by SIAMS in July 2015 and the full report can be accessed by clicking on the attached document
Our strengths and areas for improvement are summarised below:
The Christian commitment of the new headteacher and his determination to enable Norton-in-Hales Primary to become an outstanding church school.
The strong and active support of the foundation governors and the chair of governors who share the headteacher’s vision for the school.
The dedicated work of the vicar who faithfully leads weekly worship.
Areas to improve
Pursue ways of ensuring personal pupil response in worship to help pupils develop an understanding of Jesus as a friend and guide.
Further develop the reflection areas that have been introduced into each classroom to make them engaging and interactive to encourage pupils in spontaneous prayer and reflection throughout each day.
Develop creative, active approaches to religious education (RE) and worship.
