Progress and Review
We formally review progress and report back to parents, three times a year. In the Autumn and Spring terms this takes the form of a short meeting with the Class teacher to discuss performance and progress, and any other relevant areas. In the Summer term, parents receive a comprehensive written report on their child, and are given the opportunity to discuss this if required.
Early Years Foundation Stage, Reception Class
Within the reception year, children are measured against defined areas of learning using the Early Years Foundation Stage Profile.
Key Stage 1, Years 1-2 / Key Stage 2, Years 3-6
Assessment levels for Key Stage 1 and 2 have recently been reviewed and we shared at the Spring parent consultations how we as a school will assess progress and attainment.

At our recent Ofsted Inspection, it was recognised how well the school tracks the progress of each individual child, through every stage of the school.
