About Us
Norton in Hales School is a Church of England Voluntary Controlled Primary School.
The school provides education for up to 105 children between the ages of 4 and 11 in four classes. Nursery and Pre-school education is also available on site, managed by Norton Caterpillars.
We pride ourselves on offering a stimulating and creative curriculum where every child has the opportunity to shine.
We have strong links with our local church, St. Chad’s and its parishioners. Father David, our vicar, leads weekly acts of worship in school, and we hold special services, such as at Harvest, Christmas and Easter in the church, along with regular school and class acts of worship to which parents are invited.
Our Village
Norton in Hales is a small village about three miles north-east of Market Drayton, close to the Shropshire county borders with both Cheshire and Staffordshire. Our school is at the heart of Norton in Hales and is located on Main Road, which runs directly through the village.
The school is within ten minutes drive of other neighbouring residential areas including Loggerheads, Mucklestone, Audlem, Adderley and Woore.
